I’m torn between the Sandman L and Nomad 30.
Which ever I choose, will be on anything from a Bergara LRP 6.5cm to 300blk, and ar-15. I’m looking for a head to head test of each, but with the Nomad being so new, there is just not enough info out there. Of course, Dead Air recommends the nomad, but I want the best sound suppression of the two.

Hi Gary, the Nomad is newer, but not necessarily the best choice for everyone. The Sandman-S is built like a tank. If you plan to shoot heavy semi-auto or full-auto a lot, I would suggest the Sandman. That’s not to take away from the durability of the Nomad, it is tough as well. Just not the intended use for it. The Nomad is more versatile in its mounting options. Where the Sandman can only mount via our flash hiders and muzzle brakes, the Nomad direct-threads (various thread pitch inserts available), AND is compatible with our Key-Mo, which gives you the option of a quick attachment the same as our Sandman series. You can see some test #’s in the owner’s manuals which can be found in the footer links of the website if you are chasing dB’s. Hope that helps!
