The Burn Proof Gear Heavy suppressor covers are designed for each Dead Air rifle silencer model listed above, though it will fit about 0.5 inches longer than the suppressor itself. This allows the cover to cinch around the front and rear of the suppressor to ensure a “No-Slip Fit.” The Heavy cover is made from aerospace and military grade fire retardant materials. DuPont Kevlar diamond weave ripstop has a maximum operating temperature of 1400 F (roughly 180 shots fired of m855). The second component of the Suppressor Cover Heavy is an inner liner comprised of fiberglass mesh sleeving. Its maximum operating temperature is 2000 F.
The cover is a two piece design; the inner sleeving which is cut to length and the cover. The covers resist the extreme heat generated from suppressors and enable the operator to transition confidently without burning their legs, pants, or other gear. Additionally, they eliminate heat mirage on precision applications and any IR emitted in night operations. The Burn Proof Gear suppressor covers withstand the most rigorous abuse, are combat proven, Made in the USA, and are lifetime guaranteed.

I truly never thought I’d buy a cover for my Sandman S because I was always concerned about it burning and melting based on my experience with other brands and damaging my suppressor or rifle. I called BPG asking for advice and sizing info, Junior and Alec quickly responded with more info than I even needed – we were all set! Received my cover in 3 days and I can easily say I wont shoot without a cover ever again. BPG all the way.

This thing ROCKS!!! I wanted a cover that was tough and wouldn’t melt after some continues firing. My Sierra 5 has got really freaking hot and this sucker has saved my legs and unmentionables countless times. Ran my ar 556 with green tip 62 grain, pretty tough with it and has worked out great so far. Id say 560 rounds ran through and she still holding tight. Hasn’t slipped off or moved forward through rapid sessions. little tough to get the suppressor off with the wrap on but well worth the price so far. better than spending 30-90 dollars for something that will melt after a few uses.
